RAK Trilogy: Three Collections, One Complete Package
Stand: F21

RAK Ceramics has revealed for the first time a sneak preview of the company’s centrepiece EXPO product launches. 'Trilogy' is described as an entirely new product concept that targets key consumer groups taking the brand to a new level of sophistication, whilst still being highly affordable. Trilogy doesn't just consist of one bold new collection of sanitaryware and complementary tiles and furniture options; it consists of three and will be a new retail channel for dealers. There has been much secrecy around the launch of Trilogy, and even during the show, the exclusivity continues with only those specially pre-invited or who register on the day can access the special inner zone which contains Trilogy.

Empire is the first of three Trilogy collections. Featuring strong references to 'La Belle Époque', the range subtly reflects our rich European bathroom heritage. Crystal Carrara large format tiles harmonise with polished black porcelain to create a timeless fusion of old and new, topped off with chrome options including an architectural bath support. 60cm basin and full pedestal, close coupled WC and luxury seat will retail at a highly competitive £475 +VAT.

By contrast, Reserva features simplicity and refined elegance. Its uncluttered lines are the hallmark of this new collection designed to appeal to all. The entire range exudes sculptured fine lines that blend perfectly with the collection's Travertine style tiles. The same key sanitaryware bundle, but with a 55cm basin will retail for £399 +VAT.

Finally, Metropolitan is the most outright contemporary collection in Trilogy. Having a confident funkiness, RAK claims it is the first to be specifically designed for the under-served and fast growing 25-35 year old market. The key items of a 52cm basin, full pedestal and close coupled WC with luxury seat will retail at £285 +VAT - affordable designer sanitaryware for the new homeowner.

In addition to Trilogy, there are also lots of products being launched for the established RAK Ceramics sales channel and these are found in a number of zones around the outside of the stand. These include wall hung WCs for the Shino and Charlton suites, new furniture surface finishes for the range of basin drawer units and two new basins, a cute a cute 30cm square miniaturised Nova and the Chameleon basin which includes 3 mounting options. Five new porcelain tile designs achieve a synergy between sanitaryware and wall and floor finishes, whilst also showing the high production quality of the RAK brand. Finally, demonstrating RAK's position at the cutting-edge of sanitaryware innovation, the company is launching a new 100% waterless urinal that has been developed to use self cleaning chemicals.

Rob Jull, RAK Ceramics UK Managing Director says, ‘Bigger, better and with something for everyone - visiting RAK Ceramics at Bathroom & Kitchen EXPO 2007 is a necessity for anyone with an interest in tiles and sanitaryware. At the centre of our offering Trilogy doesn't just contain new products; it is three complete lifestyle statements that provide everything you could want for a bathroom, including coordinated tiles and furniture all available at an irresistible price and backed, for the very first time by a twenty-year guarantee on all sanitaryware.’

He continues, ‘Trilogy is all about exclusivity - in product design and in geographical distribution. This launch provides an enhanced experience for new dealers to kick-start our relationship, one that includes everything from exclusive access to our 72-seater restaurant area to a chance of winning tickets for this year's FA Cup final.’
