Neff Wins 'Best Buy 2007' Award
Built
in appliance manufacturer Neff has won a prestigious 'Best Buy 2007' award
from one of the country's leading consumer lifestyle magazines, 'Good
Housekeeping'.
The
award for 'Best Large Appliance' was presented to Neff for its series
6 double oven model U1644 at a special ceremony held at the famous Good
Housekeeping Institute (GHI) in central London on 29th November 2007.
The 'Best Buy' award judges had to consider which large appliance offered
genuine benefits to users and would make the biggest difference in the
home. The shortlist comprised products tested in the Good Housekeeping
Institute and chosen for inclusion in the magazine during 2007.
In presenting the award to Neff, Lizzie Kershaw, Executive Chief Publishing
Director of National Magazines praised the Neff oven, saying: 'Neff's
series 6 double oven is packed with features that busy cooks will find
useful. The clever rail means shelves slide out to give you easier access
to the food you're cooking and the Revolution door handles rotate for
an easier grip.'
The judges summed up the winning qualities of the Neff U1644 double oven
with the following statement: 'Great cooking performance and a well-thought-out
design make this a clear winner.'
Neff beat off stiff competition from several other household-name large
appliance brands, including Miele whose vacuum cleaner was runner up for
the title.
Featured in the January 2008 issue of 'Good Housekeeping' (out on 6th
December 2007), Neff is one of only five companies honoured with a 'Best
Buy 2007' award (previously called 'Innovation awards)'. Neff is now entitled
to use the unique GHI 'Best Buy 2007' logo on all its promotional material
for the U1644 double oven in the next 12 months.
