First Interactive Brochure for Siemens

Kitchen appliance manufacturer Siemens has broken the mould by introducing its first interactive brochure.

Available now in DVD format, Siemens' interactive brochure for built in appliances replicates its 215-page printed counterpart produced for 2008.

Divided into definitive product categories, the brochure incorporates the company's entire built in cooking, cooling, dishwashing and laundry ranges.

A click of the mouse enables the user to turn over pages and highlight product areas of specific interest. Furthermore, the DVD makes it possible to target relevant sections of the brochure, rather than wade through the entire book.

Designed primarily for use by Siemens dealers in their showrooms, the DVD can be used on a loop to create interest in the brand at point of sale. Extra copies are also being made available for dealers to give to selected customers for home use.

In addition to the built in brochure, the DVD features a number of specific 'focus' appliances by Siemens, as well as a corporate film for background.

The key built in appliances featured by Siemens on the DVD include the touchSlider hob, liftMatic oven, autoStain removal system for laundry, steam ovens and induction cooking. Each of these appliances merits its own short cinematic presentation to illustrate its unique selling points and allow the user to home in on specific product groups.
