and In-toto Gear up for Growth
2007 was another successful year for Alno UK. Alno and
In-toto are part of the world's second largest German kitchen manufacturers
and have announced a number of changes to the management structure. This
will assist with their ambitious plans for growth in 2008.
Both businesses had a successful 2007, with a 6% increase in sales
despite difficult trading conditions for the sector as a whole,
says Alno UK MD John Kinder.
The management changes include the promotion of Graham Russell to National
Sales Manager for both In-toto and Alno UK. Graham has been with the company
for seven years and was National Franchise Manager at In-toto for the
last four. Graham will be responsible for all sales to the UK retail market.
Steve Saunders who was Southern Area Franchise Manager will take on the
position of National Franchise Manager for In-toto and will be responsible
for developing the business.
Anne-Marie Reed, previously Marketing Manager for Alno UK, will take on
the position of Group Marketing Manager for both In-toto and Alno UK.
Other changes include a new position for Caren Gamble who takes on the
role of
Operations Manager, responsible for the functions of UK order processing,
customer service, marketing service, HR, and all other 'non-financial'
office services.
Geoff Inglis has announced his retirement after 20 years as Finance Director
for both businesses and a replacement is currently being sourced for this
position as well as a new Southern Area Franchise Manager for In-toto.
With the strength of our high street presence and national branding
we are well placed for continued growth. Our quality German products and
the reassurance of our KBSA membership, coupled with the introduction
of their newly enhanced consumer protection scheme, will ensure that we
remain ahead of the competition in 2008 and beyond, adds National
Franchise Manager for In-toto Steve Saunders.
