Victoria
& Albert Generates 'Big-Small' Appeal in the Bathroom with New ios
Stand D28
Freestanding
bath manufacturer Victoria & Albert has disclosed information about
the first of a number of product launches for 2008. The ios bath receives
its worldwide launch at stand D28 KBB 2008 Birmingham on March 2-5 2008.
Made from QUARRYCAST, a rare volcanic limestone mixed with resin, the
ios is a solid one piece bath that aims to rewrite the rule book about
size and comfort. Described as part of the new 'big-small' design philosophy,
an incredibly compact 1,500mm long footprint is matched by an impressive
390 litre capacity and double-ended layout.
As with recent models from Victoria & Albert, the minimalist ios doesn't
feature an overflow. To achieve great clarity of form, the bath's pure
oval lines are entirely unbroken - no rim, no overflow pipework; the integrated
apron hides all waste plumbing under the bathing well. Building on the
huge success of the award winning Napoli bath, the ios is aimed at the
latest city apartments and open plan bedroom/ensuites layouts where space
is at a premium. Like all V&A baths, it comes with a 25 year guarantee.
Edward Taylor, Group Sales & Marketing Manager for Victoria &
Albert Baths says, Put simply, the ios is one of the smallest baths
available with one of the largest specifications. Featuring our high-end
material technology, it delivers the essence of big bath luxury in the
smallest of spaces.
To see the new ios, visit stand D28 of KBB 2008 from March 2-5 2008 or
contact Victoria & Albert direct on telephone 01952 221100.
