Fifty
Sabaf Rings Burn at Same Time on Vulcano Maxi Hob by Nardi
It was at Milans Museum of Science
and Technology: 50 rings burnt simultaneously for 30 seconds, thus setting
a Guinness Word Record for The most rings on a hob.
50 Sabaf Serie II rings were on the Vulcano hob made by Nardi to celebrate
its 50th anniversary. Each ring was like a birthday candle, lit altogether
to enter history.

Vulcano,
a tribute to Vulcan, the god of fire and technology, is a hob made in
one piece measuring 3.6x1.2 metres (subject to IMQ safety checks): 1 fish
burner, 1 triple ring burner, 16 rapid burners, 16 semi-rapid burners
and 16 auxiliary burners for a unique piece with extraordinary dimensions,
like a volcano ready to erupt. The flame that comes from the burners on
this maxi hob is like the flames that a volcano would spew out.

The Serie II burners, developed as a modular system, are the result of
the experience and successes achieved by the Sabaf laboratories. The functioning
of the Series II burners is based on two principles which are the object
of a patent: the aspiration of the primary air by the upper part of the
bob and the radial Venturi; these features allow perfect functioning both
on free-standing cookers and on built-in hobs. They avoid functioning
problems due to the aspiration of combusted gases coming from ovens placed
under the hob or variations in aeration due to any fans installed in the
oven, or depressions due to opening drawers or doors, again in the area
under the hob.

The
Series II burners, together with the previous generation Series I, can
be purchased directly by the general public and they are also available
in the new and original coloured version.
