De Dietrich Presents the New DQH740J Quattro Dishwasher

The latest addition to the De Dietrich dishwashing collection is the Quattro: a triple A-rated 14-litre fully integrated 12 place-setting dishwasher, which was previewed at KBB 2008 to wide acclaim. Representing the latest in innovation, this single door dishwasher features two separate internal drawers which deliver four separate wash combinations; hence its name. These include a top drawer only washing option, bottom drawer only washing; full wash and separate simultaneous programmes for top and bottom drawers:

Primo:
A two zone simultaneous wash programme using the same option for a full load in both upper and lower drawers.

Secundo:
Using the lower drawer only to wash bulkier dishes and pans while saving water and energy by using up to 9-litres of water per wash.

Tertio:
Using the upper drawer only, for a mixed load while saving water and energy by using up to 9-litres of water per wash.

Quattro:
Using two drawers simultaneously to wash separate items using separate programmes. Delicates and glasses in the top drawer on a 15-minute cocktail wash, for example, with an ICS programme used for bulkier items in the lower drawer. Only up to 14-litres of water will ever be used for this option, with 1.18kW electricity usage, which compares very favourably in tests against alternative two-drawer dishwashers in the market.

The upper and lower washing zones are identical, and fit 12 long glasses, plates (up to 25cm in diameter), dishes and pans. There are also two multi purpose cutlery baskets, for use in one or both drawers. The 12 place-setting Quattro dishwasher is also designed to allow 20% more capacity than the average machine because of its two-drawer design. There are seven programmes with seven temperatures for each drawer, including the De Dietrich ICS (Intelligent Control System) programme. Sensors inside the cavity will assess how dirty the dishes are and will automatically adjust to the optimal programme using the least water and electricity while delivering the best cleaning and drying results.

Further programmes include a 15-minute 'cocktail' programme to wash glasses, a 30-minute quick wash setting and an ECO 55ºC setting for an average wash using the least possible water and electricity.

The touch control panel at the top of the door features an LCD display that enables the user to view whichever programmes are being activated at any one time; even when there are split loads. It also displays the time, programme progress indicators and can be selected for a delayed start option. The De Dietrich 'Silence Inside' logo is featured as the dishwasher offers super-quiet performance at just 44dB (A).

This Quattro model also includes a multipurpose tablet option for any wash programme, with the detergent dispenser situated directly beneath one of the four water outlets in the upper drawer to ensure even distribution and adaptable dosage. Internally, there are six spraying levels and four filter levels so dishes and pans will be perfectly washed and rinsed during any cycle. A turbo-ventilator allows for faster drying and the machine also incorporates the De Dietrich exclusive patented Eolyse catalyser: this pumps 100% fresh air into the dishwasher every 15 minutes to remove any stale odours until the door is eventually opened and the contents are removed.

As with all De Dietrich dishwashers, safety is paramount and this Quattro dishwasher features AQUASTOP Total Safety: Anti-overflow; Anti-leak; Anti-pipe burst and an Electrical water intake cut-off.
