Aestus
joins Silestone to Produce First Silestone Radiators
Aestus, a company renowned
for producing designer radiators and heated towel rails for the high class
interior, has teamed up with the specialist in Quartz surfaces Silestone
to produce a range of radiators and heated towel rails. The models will
form part of Aestus's existing Elements collection which already houses
a selection of genuine granite radiators and heated towel rails, the brainchild
of Aestus Product Designer Anthony Steele.
Silestone is a unique material manufactured using 94% Quartz which is
one of the best compounds nature has to offer. With its sophisticated
appearance, Silestone has the feel and weight of natural stone but with
superior quality.
Geoff Jones, Director, Aestus, comments New innovations are constantly
at the forefront of my mind, rather than how cheaply I can sell a chrome
ladder rail for! I first saw the Silestone material while visiting a client
in North Wales. When I expressed an interest I was quickly shown the two
new colour palettes Zen and Life launched by Silestone and this really
grabbed my attention as I'd been thinking for a long time about introducing
a range of bright and exciting coloured radiators. The double whammy of
course is that a range of radiators and heated towel rails produced in
Silestone would allow those customers using the material for their kitchen
or bathroom worktops to coordinate their heating appliances with the rest
of the interior of the room. Geoff concludes Our business
model is based upon offering high end living space, kitchen and bathroom
heating solutions that are very pleasing on the eye, up to the minute
designs, and top quality. It appears to be working so far!
The Silestone range has been launched with three models, Midas, Echo and
Reflex with a new addition Slot planned for release later in the year.
Initially only available in the Zen and Life colour palettes, Zen a range
of neutral, earthy tones and Life vibrant hues, Aestus now has confirmation
from Silestone that Midas, Echo and Reflex can be produced in any Silestone
colour creating further appeal to the consumer.
Manufacture of the stainless steel radiator frames in undertaken at Aestus's
group manufacturing facility in the UK while the stone is sourced and
fabricated by Cerrig, based in Pwllheli. Each model has a lead time of
just four weeks.
