Homag CNC Open House

Homag will be hosting a special open house exhibition focusing in the latest developments in CNC technology from July 9 - 11.

As more and more companies at all end of the spectrum turn to CNC for solutions and flexibility, the Homag Group has put itself at the forefront of this empowering technology both in terms of advanced engineering and application breakthroughs and in software and programming.

Homag AG and Group member Weeke have developed various CNC machines both for optimal panel processing and solid woodworking right up to sophisticated 5-axis machining. They also have advanced technologies for the processing of the new lightweight panels like Egger's Eurolight.

Among the machines on show will be the BOF311 CNC router for solid wood processing. The BAZ322 is a stationary CNC processor for the total production of both rectangular and shaped components in a single clamping including edging.

The Weeke BHX500 CNC panel processing centre has proved an immensely popular machine. It has a number of unique features. Heavy duty construction and throughfeed configuration means it can be included into lines or used in true one-operator mode as a stand alone machine. It drills, routs and grooves in X and Y directions and offers dual panel processing for individual patterns at processing speeds of 130m/min. It also features barcode recognition for individual programmes.

Also on show from Weeke will be the versatile Venture 1 and Venture 3 machines which allow entry level opportunities for companies to move into the significant benefits of CNC technology.

As well as the machines on show there will be representation from tooling suppliers and other associated product. Homag technicians will be on hand to demonstrate the machines and talk to visitors about training, service and all associated subjects.
