RAK Leading the UK in Fireclay

RAK Ceramics has announced that it's now officially the largest manufacturer and supplier of fireclay sinks in the UK.

Just seven years after the first RAK Ceramics Fireclay sink was produced, the company is celebrating the fact that it is now the UK's leading fireclay supplier.

Manufactured in the company's own state-of-the-art factory in Ras-Al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, RAK Ceramics has been producing high quality fireclay sinks since 2001 and is now supplying in excess of 100,000 pieces per annum - positioning the company head and shoulders above any other supplier in the UK.

Sourcing clay from the UK, RAK Ceramics continues to progress its fireclay sink collection - launching three new models at KBB 2008 - and is continuously refining and developing its output to ensure it retains its leading position.

‘Our factory came to manufacturing fireclay sinks with no negative from previous experience and was therefore able to follow a very precise business plan to penetrate the UK market. This was achieved with a great deal of success by producing new model after new model at a quality level and price unequalled by other manufacturers in the market. In just seven years we have developed no less than 17 models including a recent venture into the laboratory, schools and university markets,’ says RAK Ceramic's UK md, Rob Jull.
