New
Showroom Set to Cause a Stir
A
new look apartment style showroom at Laings' headquarters in Inverurie
is nearing completion and will be launched on Saturday 29th of March with
the well known interior designer and television presenter Anna Ryder Richardson
in attendance.
The showroom transformation is already attracting a lot of attention as
it will provide the ultimate experience for customers seeking ideas and
top quality products for their new bathroom, bedroom and kitchen as well
as lounge and office areas - all under one roof.
At last - rather than travelling round endless showrooms it is possible
to see in just one location, inspirational real room settings that depict
how your whole living space could look.
A walk-through trio of immaculately designed apartments bring
imaginatively and beautifully designed interiors together into a unique
showroom experience. You could be forgiven for thinking that you are visiting
a Homes or Interior Design exhibition - whilst in actual fact you are
seeing first hand the culmination of the true extent of the range of products
and services that Laings offer.
Andy Walker, Director, is extremely proud of the companys latest
venture and the fact that this is a totally unique concept to Scotland
or indeed the UK.
With the rise in popularity of home and property development television
programmes and magazines etc., consumers are much better informed nowadays
and want truly inspirational designs and concepts to reflect their own
individual style in their home. Our talented team of designers and craftsmen
lead the way when it comes to breathtaking design and top quality installation
and finishing. We are essentially a long established but forward thinking
and progressive family firm with a loyal workforce, always staying at
least one step ahead of the competition with the range of products and
sheer quality of service we offer.
We really do have a huge edge over competitors who may claim to
offer amazing discounts for designer style products, because you usually
find that they don't have the same knowledgeable staff with the sheer
depth of expertise and design experience that we do. Nor do they have
the support of a highly skilled team of extremely experienced craftsmen
- some with many years' industry experience, who take an enormous amount
of care and pride in their work. Nowadays, people want their home improvement
projects to be done only to the very highest of standards, by people who
will share their vision and aspirations for their home - the whole way.
We are also members of several trade associations such as CORGI, SNIPEF,
the KBSA and the IBSA and SELECT. Interestingly, all these points are
confirmed by some research undertaken by the KBSA quite recently which
uncovered that when it comes to kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, knowledgeable
staff, a friendly approach and membership of a trade association are the
three most important factors to consumers when choosing their supplier.
In the new showroom we can demonstrate to people how unique we are
- in offering the full service from conception of designs to the installation
of the final product - and how easily they could complete a diverse range
of home improvement projects when they use one single source - Laings.
Increasingly we all want eye catching, functional and labour saving devices
that look good in our homes and Laings has certainly catered for all tastes
in each one of the apartment settings. The companys designers have
worked extremely hard to bring a selection of some of the most eye catching
new products into these settings and their enthusiasm and passion shows
in each layout.
The Signature apartment has a particularly clever Utility
room in crisp Antique White furniture by Hacker. Every inch of the room
has been meticulously planned to make the most of the space, with a whole
host of gadgets and space saving solutions like pull out laundry baskets,
shoe racks and the pull-out table in the laundry area to rest your washing
basket on.
In the Bachelor apartment - as the name implies - you will
find a chic and streamlined design theme. Of particular note is the glass
breakfast bar and the new style drawer dishwasher in the kitchen, the
office and living areas and the appliances by SMEG - including the 50s
style retro black gloss fridge freezer and the wall mounted modern fire.
The Penthouse really pushes the boundaries with an abundance
of innovative design features and is a true show-stopper. Look out for
the open en-suite area with its extraordinary large mirrored vanity unit
with built in RDS radio and in the kitchen - the chandelier-like extractor
hood by Elica as featured in television's Grand Designs just
has to be seen. So too does the metallic sheen champagne furniture
and the large island unit with white corian worktop which houses three
built in flat hobs - one of which is even moulded to house a wok.
Of course, as well as working hard to ensure the company always has the
best products and that its private clients are happy and well looked after,
Laings also continues to work closely with a large number of property
developers, architects, well known home builders and hotels both locally
and throughout the UK. The company has already received some very positive
feedback from these clients about the new showroom who confirm that there
has indeed been a gap in the market for something like this until now
- and very much look forward to working with Laings on future projects.
They are delighted to see a business working so pro-actively with real
vision and coming up with ideas rather than just solutions, as it is essential
for them to also be up to date with trends and products to put into the
projects they are working on to ensure customer satisfaction.
Not only does the Inverurie HQ continue to progress and thrive, in the
Shore Area of Leith, Edinburgh, Laings' other showroom is going from strength
to strength and continues to report excellent business growth - again
working with both Private and Contract clients.
