Showerlux Delivers at the Double

As part of its commitment to provide its customers with a first class service offering, Showerlux, the manufacturer of bathroom products, has introduced major improvements to its distribution service.

The investment, part of an overall review of its nationwide distribution and warehousing facilities, means Showerlux's merchant and retail customers can now benefit from a 48-hour delivery service on the majority of the company's extensive range of shower enclosures, shower screens, baths and shower trays.

Facilitated via a network of distributors around the UK, including Ideal Bathrooms and CRS Wholesale for England and Wales and In-Line Distribution in Scotland, the new service means Showerlux can deliver anywhere in the country within 48-hours, with some of its distributors offering a 24-hour service.

In addition, the company has invested in its Coventry-based warehouse, which enables a minimum stock-holding of approximately 9000 products at any one time, including over 2000 of its popular Glide range.

‘We have made a commitment to improve our current delivery times as part of an overall pledge to upgrade our service offer to stockists, merchants and bathroom boutiques across the UK,’ says Showerlux UK managing director, Bob Bowler.

‘Through enhancements to our warehousing and transport facilities, combined with a significant increase in stock holding capabilities, we can now offer up to 48-hour delivery on the majority of our stock items.’
