Roman Experience – a Show-Stopping Success

For showering manufacturer Roman, KBB 2008 was a great success. Roman launched and previewed a large number of new products which were extremely well received by all.

Some of the most talked about products from the Roman Experience were the company's new luxury panelling system, Roman Wall, and its soon to be launched Designer Glass Motif.

Roman Wall was launched at the show and created a real buzz. The solid surface panelling system is a designer alternative to tiling. It is available in four different stone effect finishes: Sandstone, Limestone, Marble and Granite. It is highly impact resistant, easy to install and maintain and can be drilled or cut like any tile. It comes with professionally finished edges utilising stylish joining and edging strips.

Previewed at the Roman Experience was a Designer Glass Motif. This was showcased in a frosted modesty panel design and also in a dramatic black effect. The motif is designed around the Roman ‘R’ and is set to be incorporated into a number of new and diversified Roman products later in the year.

Another talking point from the Roman Experience included a freestanding walk-in enclosure, which took centre stage on the front of the stand. The walk-in features 10mm thick glass and is completely frameless. This freestanding enclosure is set to be launched into the Roman Sculptures collection later in the year.

KBB also marked the first showing of Roman’s new structural shower tray former. Designed to be used with the Roman Shield tanking system, the shower tray former sits on the joists and is simply tanked over. The tray former then creates a natural slope, from all sides, towards the drain outlet. It significantly speeds up and simplifies installation.

Also previewed was the 10mm thick Sculptures Sliding Door system. With its feature roller bearings and bracing system, it is set to be an exciting and unique addition to the opulent range.
