Rolls Out X-Large in New Look
With
new surface finishes, new design details and additional items, Duravit
has continuously renewed the X-Large range, keeping this popular furniture
collection, first launched in 2000, abreast of the times. This roll-out
system has made X-Large a fashionable modern classic, up-to-date but not
at the mercy of fashion. In 2008, it is being further upgraded through
the addition of three new surface finishes, a mobile storage unit with
seat and a great solution for guest bathrooms thanks to the built-in towel
basket.
Individual solutions for the guest bathroom
The ceramic elements in the new guest bathroom design are washbasins from
the Vero range - either as a 40 cm wide version with central tap fittings
or an elongated version with just 23 cm projection and side-mounted tap
fittings.
The classic clean lines are mirrored in the vanity unit, which has exactly
the same dimensions, and continues in a slim cuboid shape. The doors can
be mounted on the left or right as required and as a special extra there
is a 30 cm cabinet, which can not only hold guest towels but also has
a hinged door with pull-out chrome basket for the used towels.
This cabinet can be fitted on its own or side by side with the vanity
unit in which case a panel top provides a finishing touch. To round off
the range, X-Large also offers a matching mirror to produce a personalised
solution for a perfectly designed washing area in the main or guest bathroom.
New surface finishes for new design ideas
Small rooms in particular benefit from a touch of well-chosen colour;
creamy and subdued tones, for example, will help to make the room seem
larger. This is where the new Cappuccino high gloss surface
comes into its own. The pastel gloss is easy on the eye and gives a delicate
coffee flavour to the room, while the brilliance of the finish
helps to exploit the power of natural light sources. This restrained and
quiet colour scheme also gives larger bathrooms an added gloss. In other
cases a powerful contrast is more appropriate. The new Oak Anthracite
real wood surface finish for example introduces stylish accents while
the warm radiance of Teak décor sets the scene. Whether contrasting
or tone-in-tone, the new fashionable surfaces enhance planning flexibility
and act as an inspiration for new design ideas.
Spacious, multifunctional and always to hand
The latest in the Duravit trolley range is a furniture item with a cushioned
seat. The elegant white imitation leather upholstery in the X-Large range
is inviting and can be positioned precisely where it's needed.
Ease off your shoes or turn round to clean your teeth. This smart new
item makes for greater mobility in the bathroom and also offers additional
storage space.
Vanity units with open shelves, wallboards in different sizes and a cabinet
in a new height of 132 cm round off this year's new X-Large programme
items.
