Cesana Makes a Statement at Salone Del Mobile

Italian shower manufacturer Cesana exhibited its range of stylish, contemporary showers at the Salone Del Mobile exhibition in Milan last month.

Cesana's stand showed a variety of its enclosures including the Logic Horizon, Tecnostar and Half Moon plus two new products for 2008, the Plano and the Tecnoslide.

The Plano is a showering solution that is cleverly integrated into the architecture of the bathroom. The shower tray, in steel, is inset into the floor to create a base for the shower mat that is level with the bathroom floor. The 8mm or 10mm safety glass is fixed to the tray and a steel upper support bar joins the two glass panels. The mat can be in teak, aluminium or pral (an artificial material composed by natural minerals and acrylic components). The Plano was designed by Giulio Gianturco and Mario Tessarollo.

The Tecnoslide is a contemporary and sophisticated design, using only essential lines to form this showering solution. The sliding mechanism of the front panel is the main feature of this enclosure. The frame is in anodised aluminium and the 8mm safety glass is available in both clear and opal finish. A space-saving solution.
