Puts a Groove Back into Kitchen Design
Gallery
has drawn upon a traditional wood panelling technique to create its latest
kitchen collection, Newport.
The
new ivory collection is a versatile kitchen with a farmhouse flavour that
features a classic tongue and groove centre panel. Designed to sit on
an ivory carcase, the Newport collection suits a wide range of properties
from rural country cottages to city centre Georgian townhouses.
Glazed units featuring a frosted planked effect add textural interest
and create an unusual display area while chunky gothic D handles complete
the strong linear styling of the design.
The collection co-ordinates with Gallerys new walnut effect worktop,
which is one of two new timber effect laminates being introduced by Gallery
this season.
Gallerys brand manager, Katy Black says: 'Neutral kitchen collections
in classic styles continue to sell well as they appeal to a wide customer
base and allow designers to tailor the look and feel of a kitchen to suit
the property. For example, the classic tongue and groove design of Newport
looks just as effective when accessorised with classic appliances and
gadgets as it does with contemporary stainless steel and aluminum accents.'
The new collection is also available with 45 degree base units. The units
are ideal for creating a continuous flow throughout a kitchen design,
allowing designers to gently taper sharp edges and add valuable extra
storage at the end of a run of units.
The Newport collection, which will be available from May, is the latest
addition to Gallerys extensive range which offers more than 30 kitchen
furniture styles divided into three easy to use categories: Modern, Shaker
and Timeless. The range also includes a choice of ergonomically designed
storage accessories, work surfaces, lighting and a choice of sinks and
taps from Blanco.
