Electrolux 'A' Rated Appliances Chosen for 'The House that Kevin Built'

Channel 4's Grand Designs has embarked on an ambitious new project - The House that Kevin Built. Taking place in and around London's Docklands 4 - 9 May 2009, Kevin McCloud's challenge, with the help of celebrity friends is to build a sustainable home in six days on site around Excel. It will be constructed using a mixture of traditional building methods, cutting edge design and new technology.Kitchen appliances for the project need to be as energy efficient as possible and Electrolux appliances have been chosen ‘for their sleek contemporary look and eco-friendly A energy ratings.’

The products chosen are:

* Electrolux Insight EKT6045X AA rated 60 cm double oven cooker with multi function oven - streamlined build and simple touch controls
* Electrolux Insight EHD72100X induction hob - Induction hobs are the most energy efficient form of hob cooking.
* AEG-Electrolux S70178TK38 A+ rated 60cm fridge in stainless steel and matching:
* AEG-Electrolux A75108GA3 A rated 60 cm frost free freezer
