Whirlpool Picks Up GHI and Which? Accolades

Whirlpool has received two awards for its innovative AWO/D AS128 6th Sense AquaSteam washing machine. The ‘Best Buy’ accolade from Which? and the Good Housekeeping Institute Accreditation.

The AquaSteam, highly impressed Which? with its steam function. This model uses unique 6th Sense technology to detect exactly the right time to powerfully inject steam into the wash cycle. This boosts the temperature to relax fabric fibres so that detergent can penetrate deeply to remove tough stains. Which? stated that ‘Whirlpool is proving that steam power is a success. It’s great at cleaning and better with the stain removal setting.’

Rated 'A' for wash performance this machine has also passed the Good Housekeeping Institute’s consumer quality assessment and has been awarded the 2008 accreditation.

Whirlpool’s ADP8000 6th Sense PowerClean Dishwasher achieved highest total test score in the full sized free standing category. According to Which? the PowerClean ‘cleans well’ and ‘dries exceptionally.’ The PowerClean uses 32 high pressured jets positioned at the back of the tub to tackle tough dried on food and provide 70% more water power.
