Sustainable Solutions, Awareness, Engagement and Action

The 2008 Annual Bathroom Conference will consider, challenge and stretch the boundaries of sustainability from corporate, social, environmental and economic ideals.

But what does this mean for the Bathroom Industry?

An already confirmed impressive line up of speakers will ensure that the conference delegate has a greater understanding of what sustainability actually means in terms of design, community, world leaders, affordability and creating employment.

Phil Woolas, Minister of State for the Environment will outline government's strategic objectives on water efficiency and how these will impact on the Industry through pending changes in legislation.

Wayne Hemingway MBE a leading designer will share with the audience his belief that sustainable design should be accessible to all, affordable and above all enjoyable. Clare Brass a Director with the Seed Foundation will explore the theory that sustainability is as much about creating communities and jobs as it is about environmental stewardship and that it should be grasped as an opportunity for business development.
