Tecnargilla
2008
The
time is coming around for Tecnargilla, the most important
international showcase of supplies for the ceramics industry, organised
by Rimini Fiera in partnership with ACIMAC (the association of Italian
manufacturers of machinery and equipment for ceramics) and scheduled to
be held from 30th September to 4th October in Rimini. The event is eagerly
awaited by ceramics manufacturers, and its many exhibitors are now putting
the final touches on the new technologies they will be presenting there.
Rimini is therefore gearing up to house the biennial showcase that those
in the trade consider a 'boutique' of new technology and a sneak preview
of the ceramics of the future. Machinery and equipment for the production
of tiles, bathroom fixtures, and brick; glazes and pigments, designs and
aesthetic solutions for the ceramics of the future, raw materials and
services; cutting-edge ceramics: Tecnargilla is the most complete trade
fair there is, given its exhaustive product range.
Italian Companies take the Spotlight at the Fair
Once again, Italian companies will be playing the leading role in Tecnargilla
2008. ACIMAC president Pierluigi Ponzoni shared his comments on this point.
'All the Italian companies are putting everything they have into preparation
for the fair,' Ponzoni says, 'and theyll be presenting cutting-edge
ideas that demonstrate their unchallenged leadership position. This is
the most important international trade fair in the sector, and that's
why we intend to reaffirm what we are capable of, to show the world our
energy and ongoing flair for innovation'. Ponzoni recaps the key strengths
of Tecnargilla: 'The Rimini expo is unparalleled in terms of the range
and quality of its exhibitors, its capacity to draw visitors, its hospitality,
logistics, venues, and exhibit organisation. The location is another huge
advantage: its an Italian fair and Italy is unquestionably the cradle
of the ceramics industry'.
Tecnargilla Scheduled at the Same Time as Cersaie
The executive board of ACIMAC has decided to completely match up the dates
of Tecnargilla and Cersaie, to make attendance easier for those coming
from other continents. 'I expect this experiment to have excellent results.
For future Tecnargilla exhibitions,' says Ponzoni, 'we will chose the
best strategy on a case-by-case basis. I think Tecnargilla 2008 is going
to be a success. Its a well-established, eagerly awaited event,
coming at a time that may not be great for our sector, but is strategic
for technology and service providers. It's important to be there and to
be there in the best, most efficient way possible, since despite current
market circumstances, the 30,000-some professional visitors to the expo
will be arriving with high expectations and keen curiosity. The week of
Tecnargilla and Cersaie is a must for anyone in the world who produces
ceramics.'
