Ritec
Promotes Clearshield Food & Hygiene
Newly launched by Ritec is ClearShield Food & Hygiene,
designed for glass and ceramic surfaces where hygiene is of paramount
importance - ideal for environments such as hospitals and kitchens. Glass
shelves and counters that are in direct or indirect contact with food
will also benefit. Guarding against unsightly staining and discolouration,
ClearShield Food & Hygiene creates an easy-to-clean, anti-bacterial
surface without the need for aggressive cleaning chemicals.
Ritec's specialist system for protecting sandblasted glass also generated
considerable interest as well as its latest manual M10 spraying equipment
for applying ClearShield in the factory. In addition, the company received
an unprecedented number of enquiries about the use of ClearShield on solar
panels. Ritec's Chairman and Managing Director, Stephen Byers, believes
this reflects the growing market for 'greener' energy sources. He says:
ClearShield is a really worthwhile investment as it protects the
panels from the build up airborne contaminants such as dust and pollution,
which can seriously reduce their energy-producing performance - testament
to 'Cleaner is Greener'.
Once again, the Ritec Hotelship moored on the Rhine proved a great way
to relax and network after a busy day at the show. This year, the company,
together with key UK trade publications, the GGF and flat glass specialist
Go Glass, hosted a Charity Casino Evening onboard which not only proved
an excellent social occasion, but also raised over 500 Euros for Clic
Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity.
Summing up, Stephen Byers declared Glasstec 2008 a resounding success
for Ritec. The Show provides an important international platform
for showcasing our award-winning, durable glass surface protection technology
for an ever-widening range of applications.
