The BMF London Region Celebrates Centenary in Style

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) London Region really pushed the boat out for this year’s summer social, which took place high up on the unique location of Tower Bridge. The event was particularly special as 2008 marks the centenary year of the BMF.

The London Region’s annual summer socials are always eagerly anticipated and are a highlight on the industry’s social calendar, with this year’s event being no exception.
The evening was celebrated by 80 merchants and suppliers enjoying a black tie champagne drinks reception and a seated dinner 120 feet above the River Thames, in the walkways of the 114-year-old Tower bridge.

Dawn Wilkinson, BMF Regional Manager, said, 'The evening proved to be a truly amazing and memorable occasion for all who attended.  The views over the capital from Tower Bridge were spectacular and it was a unique and fitting venue for the BMF and the London Region to commemorate this centenary year.'
