Wentworth Kitchens Ilkley Makes BBC TV Debut

Wentworth Kitchens’ showroom based in Illkey has made its television debut featuring in a brand new BBC programme due to be shown on BBC One on the 14th October.

Nigel & Sarah Hannan of Wentworth Kitchens in Ilkley were recently asked to take part in a forth coming BBC TV programme 'Open House'. The aim of the programme is to provide solutions to consumers who've had difficulty selling their homes, and are advised on how to rearrange and declutter the home to present it in a saleable condition. The BBC researchers found Wentworth Ilkley on the internet as they were looking for a showroom who specifically supplied to the local Bramhope area. Everyone at the showroom was delighted to be involved in the programme.

Their involvement consisted of producing a suggested solution for a new kitchen in the property, as the current kitchen was quite dated. A plan, prospective drawing and outline costing were produced to present on the programme which would then be used for any prospective buyers to view.

Nigel asked their Sales Manager, Matthew Cook to represent Wentworth on the programme, and he was filmed both at the property and then back at the Ilkley showroom. ‘I really enjoyed the experience" Matthew commented 'It was well worth it and we're all very excited to see the finished programme that will be aired in a few weeks time’.

Wentworth Kitchens was delighted to be involved in this kind of project and hopes that one of its 80 outlets nationwide will be offered the opportunity to participate again in the future.
