Increase in Press Coverage for KBSA

The value of editorial press coverage for the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) has risen by 44% compared to results achieved in the previous six months, according to recent figures released by the Association.

Between January and June this year the association's public relations consultancy, Carol Downing Communications achieved coverage worth the advertising equivalent of £261,524 within trade, consumer and regional press which equates to over £42,315 every month.

Editorial coverage was consistent over the six month period with editorial achieved each month in key trade journals. The consumer coverage in particular has increased significantly yet again - with a 22% increase in coverage compared to the previous six months.

‘Our editorial coverage is again exceptional, which is a key part of our strategy for raising our profile with consumers in order to add value to our membership package. It is also important that we maintain a profile within the trade press so that potential members recognise us as the only Association that represents the independent quality KBB retailer,’ says KBSA's National Chair Mike Ashton.

‘We're delighted with the results which show that key consumer magazines call on the KBSA for authoritative comment and consumer advice.’

Total circulation achieved for the period was over 1.7 million in the trade press, 6.5 million in the regional press and 6.4 million in consumer titles. This equates to total readership of more than 43 million across all three sectors.
