Launches Dealer Charter
Metropolitan
Showers has drawn up a dealer charter that is to be signed by all the
companys retailers. Graham Hackett, Marketing Manager of Metropolitan
Showers states that the aim of this charter is to have a consistent
standard of 'brand' promotion within our chosen dealer network.
This charter is ultimately the foresight of a top British manufacturer
aiming to protect the name of their brand.
Metropolitan says that its shower enclosures and wet rooms are synonymous
with style and quality and the charter will ensure that a high standard
is maintained. The charter covers a range of areas such as Dealership
Status and advises the type of promotional activity the retailer must
adhere to in order to maintain the brand image. It will also focus upon
displays, so that across the board the same standard of point of sale
materials are used, and literature, making sure that all retailers are
provided with the adequate materials to support sales activity. Metropolitan
does not merely want to dictate to retailers how they should stock the
product, but instead promise to give the companys retailers an unrivalled
level of support and training so that they have the best knowledge of
the products and will therefore in-turn increase sales.
Metropolitan also feels that it is extremely important to ensure that
the company carries out extensive training with any retailer wishing to
stock its product. That way the company can ensure that its customers
are given the very highest standard of after sales care, as well as informed
information when purchasing the product.
This charter should result in a cohesive relationship between Metropolitan
and its retailers. It exists to ensure that Metropolitan and its respective
dealers are working together for the benefit of the end user.
