Satinjet™ - Low in Flow, Big on Performance

We're all interested in making any savings we can right now and consumers are no different. With the worsening strain on the housing market, more people are staying put and improving their current home to make it as stylish and energy efficient as possible.

Possibly the quickest sale to be made in the current climate is to promote the installation of new brassware and showers as the simplest and most cost effective way of updating a bathroom and guaranteeing smarter use of energy and water.

The winner of numerous prestigious awards, Deva's revolutionary Satinjet™ offers affordable, design-led, performance showerheads that are not only easy to install and maintain, but are also safe for the whole family to use.

The extensive range of Satinjet™ showerheads use just nine litres of water per minute compared with the 20 litres of most conventional showers, resulting in massive savings on shower water and energy of up 40 per cent.

Despite the dramatically reduced flow rate, Satinjet™ showerheads deliver a showering experience that surpasses the quality of conventional showers, thanks to the pioneering Twin-Jet™
Technology.

Deva Managing Director Rob Pryde says: ‘Satinjet™ showerheads are designed and engineered in New Zealand and this amazing technology hasn't been seen in showering anywhere in the world before.

‘It's extremely clever and works by angling twin jets of water to collide and disperse, creating 3,000 soft drops of water per second. These drops cover a wide area of the skin providing a good soaking sensation without feeling painful against the skin. Conventional showers can't do this. They just feel like needles. In addition, the pattern of water dispersion from the faceplate is evenly spread, so there's no 'cold spot' in the centre of the shower that you experience with conventional showers.’

The user-friendly hand piece suits small and large hands and the spray function selector has elevated icon push buttons meaning the user doesn't need to put his hands in the spray to change functions or twist the shower head, which is particularly beneficial to the elderly or those with arthritic problems. In addition, even those with poor eyesight can easily locate the large raised icons.

Rob adds: ‘Satinjet™ features variable spray patterns without any change in temperature when altered. What's more, ‘We've made it easy for everyone to use and there's absolutely no need to worry about water pressure as each Satinjet™ showerhead is supplied with two faceplates, suitable for either low or high water pressure - therefore you can choose the faceplate that suits your particular water pressure to achieve the best performance.’

The Awatea range includes four affordable applications ranging from just £80 RRP up to £149 RRP. Quick and easy to install, the Awatea Hand & Hose is perfect for upgrading existing showers with the minimum of fuss, while the Awatea Wall Mounted Showerhead boasts an adjustable wall mounted shower arm and head, plus a swivel joint. This unique feature enables the user to alter the angle of the spray allowing a very individual showering experience.

The Awatea Hi-Rise Adjustable Wall Mounted Showerhead features the new locking system, which requires no adjustment to move the arm. The user simply manoeuvres the showerhead with one hand and the set position is retained over time.

Designed for a retro fit, the Awatea Slide Rail Shower comes with an ergonomic push button slide rail adjustment and coordinating soap dish. With installation the key to the design, it comes with zinc brackets for extra strength and stainless steel screws - making it ideal for use with power screwdrivers.

Each Satinjet™ showerhead is dishwasher safe and comes complete with a five-year guarantee including a two-year parts and labour warranty followed by a three-year parts only warranty.
