Time to Get a 2006 Diary

There is plenty of excitement in the appliance market again this month - apart from the 'seasonal' activities which we are trying to refrain from mentioning until at least half way through November! Whirlpool has published its third quarter results, together with a highlight of its activities worldwide and recent product innovations, which makes very interesting reading. We also have the first pictures of Glen Dimplex's proposed new warehouse in Trentham Lakes and news that Underwood Kitchens has signed a deal with Hotpoint.

On the events and exhibitions front there is still plenty to plan for: ELECSA is rolling out a series of free Part P seminars, some of which are in conjunction with KBSA regional meetings. There are also a few exhibitions in the new year which need to be diaried (perhaps that's even more traumatic than contemplating Christmas!), viz Ideo Bain in Paris (Jan 17-20), KBB in Birmingham (Jan 22-25) and Ambiente in Frankfurt (Feb 10-14). A sobering prospect for those of us that don't usually catch up after the holiday excesses until mid February...
