Keeping Cool in a Hot Market

To London's trendy Icebar this week, courtesy of ever growing global ceramics giant VitrA, who has announced a change of UK managing director as well as a raft of
new products and prestigious contracts, including Heathrow Terminal 5.

Congratulations to Aqualux, meanwhile, for
scooping 'Business of the Year' at the prestigious 'Best of the Black Country Awards'. This comes only months after picking up 'Best Bathroom Product' at the House Beautiful Awards.

A crop of financials this week, which show the overall market to be in fairly rude health: we hear from Indesit (sales 5% up, profits up a whopping 127%!), In-toto (sales 20% up), AFG (9.5% increase), Blum (up 17%), Emerson (up 19%) and Homag (orders up 26%).

Finally, apologies for those of you who got two copies of The K&BZine last week. We realised just after we had hit the button that not all the links were fully operational and hoped we had caught it early enough (and many thanks to the on-the-ball readers who spotted it and phoned to tell us!).
