Gloves are off in Exhibition War

CMPi, the owners of the KBB Show, traditionally at the NEC in Birmingham every two years, has gone head to head with DMG, the owners of KBB Review EXPO (formerly BK Expo)
, by announcing a London based show to take place from 17-19th May 2009, a week after the scheduled EXPO at Excel.

It will take place at Earl's Court,
'the most popular location for an event in this market due to its central London location and the ease of access for exhibitors and visitors alike,’ says Event Manager Sam Cande, who adds that some 30% of space is presold for the London show

To support its exhibiting customers, CMPi has also launched an email newsletter, which will provide updates on the show.

Lots of other news this week as well, with Ideal Standard mapping out its new structure, and Coram, Cosentino and Crosswater all announcing new premises/warehouses.
