I can understand the thinking, but do we really want to make the kitchen so attractive that you spend more time in it than other rooms in the house? Maybe we do.

Twyfords Advert

We have voiced our opinion about technology going mad before on The K&BZine - at the end of the day, the KBB market is one of the most 'people facing' environments and as such needs directly to serve the people. One of my bugbears is coming across really clever taps in washrooms of restaurants and bars where I witness people giving up trying to figure out how they work and walk out without washing their hands. Sometimes technology has to wait for people to catch up.

Anyway, our coverage of KBB2004 continues: has some general information on the show here, and a growing exhibitor list here.

The research revealed that the main reasons why people wanted a food waste disposer in their new kitchen were associated with the lifestyle benefits of improved hygiene and convenience. However, those interviewed that didn’t want a food waste disposer said that it was because they had ‘no need’ for one.
