Twyfords Advert
Interesting news from Poggenpohl, which continues to target the top end of the kitchen market by acquiring three of its top London showrooms. The policy seems to be working: having reduced its UK outlets from 60 to 22 since 2001, 2003 UK sales rose by some 40%. The three showrooms are Norman Glen Kitchens (Finchley Rd), Ultimate Kitchens (Pimlico) and Wigmore kitchens (W1), who between them command around £5m worth of annual sales.
Polypipe Bathrooms and Kitchens

Finally, a fascinating report from Experian throws a rather uncomfortable light on the extent to which the UK public exposes itself to credit card fraud. Identity Fraud increased by nearly 32% in 2003, with 43,000 UK citizens becoming victims of this relatively new crime. One in ten people in the UK are at risk from Bin Raiders as they do not shred or tear up financial documents before throwing them away.

DebbieKitchen companies should take note of these findings: forget icemakers and TVs, a built-in document shredder may be the the must-have add on for 2004/5.
