Polypipe Bathrooms and Kitchens

The show itself proved an interesting event, although numbers seemed down on 2003. This may have been an optical illusion, since the show took up more space than in 2003, and the aisles were generally bigger, so visitors perhaps just seemed thinner on the ground. Most exhibitors were happy with the turnout and the only common complaint was the atrocious state of the shell scheme system available from the venue: I don't think so much bent, scratched and lopsided Octanorm has ever been seen under one roof before!

Marketing Manager Clare Coe summed up the show: "Thousands of retailers, architects and housebuilders came to see over 200 companies exhibiting hundreds of new products, some of which were being shown for the first time in the UK. Celebrities Naomi Cleaver, Laurence Llewellyn Bowen and ‘How Not To Decorate’ duo Colin and Justin all made appearances at the exhibition. Many visitors took the time out from walking around the stands to attend one or more of the seminars and workshops learning more about colour, showroom design, lighting and wet rooms. Bathrooms & Kitchens EXPO will return to ExCeL on 13-15 May 2007."

More on the show in the next couple of weeks, so please send in your comments.
