Launches New Ranges of Kitchens

kitchens has announced that its new brochure contains six new kitchens,
as well as new colours and products for existing ranges. In addition to
this, Stoneham has introduced another new range, first shown at the B
& K Expo exhibition in London.
The new ranges in the brochure are:

Introduces its New Luxury Model
Cheshire-based
sink specialist, Reginox UK announces
the next addition to its RegiLux range of stainless steel sinks, the RL
210S.
This
new RL 210S is a modern shape, and fashioned from 18/10 polished stainless
steel. When installed in any kitchen, modern or traditional, its crescent
rhomboid shape makes the RL 210S a focal point. The RL 210S is a11/2 bowl
double drainer design, with a generous square bowl. It can be ordered
in a left or right hand option.
The RegiLux range of sinks consists of existing designs in quality materials.
This fashionable stainless steel inset one and a half bowl sink is ideal
for installation into modern new homes, loft apartments and in refurbished
kitchens alike, and is particularly suited to space saving kitchens.
The RL 210S is one of six different styles in the range and not only does
it have the style of the RegiLux range, it also has 90mm basket strainer
wastes combined with a pop up waste.

Prentice
uses Abacon for Unique Designs

Prentice of Prentice Furniture is
passionate about the final quality of his kitchen fascias. Whether rustic
oak with all the character of pippy knots, splits and whirls, or mellow
maple and fine grained ash - all components have to be finished to perfection.
Tom
Prentice oversees the factories that Prentice Furniture operates in Tamworth.
They are equipped with state-of-the-art production machinery selected
to be highly flexible but also fit-for-purpose. 'The level of finish we
require on the edges of our doors cannot be produced on any standard sanding
machinery' explains Tom Prentice, 'we could go down the route of hand
finishing but even this wouldn't give us the consistency and would certainly
be far too time consuming and laborious.' Prentice went to great lengths
to search out a specialist supplier who could give the company a solution.
In this particular area of edge finishing Sheffield-based Abacon was able
to come up with the answer.
Abacon provides a variety of edge sanding solutions for either solid wood
or composite (MDF) surfaces through its range of MultiSander machines
which are adaptable and can be designed to specific customer requirements.
The MultiSanders drive spindles onto which are mounted the SlipCon hubs
with slotted profiles supporting abrasive strips and varying degrees of
brush backing support. The abrasive strips - which are mounted on 'combs'
that slide into and out of the hubs - can be cut to shape or size and
different grits and backing stiffness can be selected for the job and
inserted alternately in the hub if required. The system allowed Abacon
to construct a machine and abrasive sanding solution which suited Prentice
Furniture's requirements.
Tom Prentice says that the machine is simple but utterly effective. 'It
is easy to operate and inexpensive to purchase and run. More importantly
it does exactly what we need.
'At Prentice Furniture no matter how good the quality of the overall product
is, the final position in the market is achieved by a meticulous approach
to the finish.
The Abacon MultiSander may not be the biggest machine in the Prentice
factory but it is crucial as was Abacon's Martin Davis's expertise in
the area of abrasive application and finishing.'

Adds New Soft-Closing Device to Extensive Collection

has extended its portfolio of added-value accessories with the addition
of Soft Stop. Soft Stop works with the Dispensa V larder systems and comes
as standard with the Arena Dispensa V system. The Soft Stop mechanism,
fitted to the dispensa framework, is designed to cushion the movement

New
Undermounted Sink Designs from Franke
Franke
has extended the Specialist range of sinks for undermounting, available
as a design package with the contemporary style Olympus tap. For the first
time, a white ceramic model is offered as an alternative to stainless
steel. The 1 1/2 bowl VBK 160 can be used to particularly dramatic effect
when combined with and contrasted by a dark solid surface.
Two further additions are in stainless steel. Designed to maximise available
space, Franke say the rectangular shaped LAX 160 is the largest 1 1/2
bowl undermounted sink available that will still fit within a standard
600 mm base unit. For a more rounded shape, the new CPX 160 is in the
Compact design made popular by Franke's inset model.
For straightforward fabrication, the bowls on each sink are built into
a single frame so that just one cut-out is required instead of two. This
arrangement also meets demand for a continuous wet area. The small bowl
can be positioned on the left or right of the main bowl.

New Addition to the Regigranite Range from Reginox

the style and durability of natural materials with practical and functional

The one and half bowl and drainer sink builds on the theory that the function

Introduces New Red Alder Saponetta
Kitchens,
the new flatpack brand launched in the UK in January 2003, has introduced
a stylish fascia, red alder saponetta, to its range. This fashionably
designed kitchen, with a red alder vinyl finish and MDF doors, is a mid-range
product designed to give retailers a product that will easily sell.
The Red Alder Saponetta has a simplistic, modern design with smooth medium
density fibreboard (MDF) doors and drawer fronts. The cabinets are made
from an extra thick 18mm melamine faced chipboard (MFC) for added rigidity,
and the extra thick 15mm back panels ensure added stability. The cabinets
have also been made with multiplex edging to give a blockboard effect,
and the metal four-way clip hinges allow for easy adjustment of the doors
and provide lasting strength.
All Red Alder Saponetta drawers have a 15mm pearblock MFC base to prevent
sagging, and self-lubricating metal roller runners for smooth and reliable
opening.
The Red Alder Saponetta comes with a choice of highline and drawerline
base units with corner and dummy drawer options. Prices start from just
£64 (inc. vat). The drawer units start from £154 (inc. vat)
