Add some colour with multi-coloured grab rails

* Barwood_Sharon-McKenna.jpgSpecialist manufacturer of bathroom products for the inclusive sector, Barwood Products, stocks a wide range of grab rails in popular, standard colours and sizes to satisfy quick delivery requirements.

Made in the UK from UK-sourced steel that is powder coated and polished to ensure excellent quality and durability, these rails are available in a wide range of standard sizes and can also be custom made to order.

Recently the company has been fulfilling orders for its special order rainbow range of grab rails and hinged arms which were designed to add a dash of colour to rooms designed to help people with mobility issues and even dementia.

The attractive, brightly coloured rails are made to order in any RAL colour and to any size thanks to the bespoke manufacturing capability of the Staffordshire-based business. The rails not only offer a vibrant design solution, but some colours are proven to help customers with specific conditions. Sharon McKenna, sales & marketing director, is passionate about supplying well-designed products to customers with specific accessibility requirements.

"Stylish designs should not just be reserved for non-disabled customers," she argues. "Everyone should have access to well made, good looking products whether they are at home, in hospital, in a care home or in a public loo. We make coloured rails available to give specifiers the choice of something brighter for spaces such as children's wards in hospitals, nurseries and assisted bathing spaces for younger people, but they are also popular for other reasons.

For example, red products are increasingly being used more widely for dementia patients as it is a colour that represents danger or hazards - even with short term memory loss - and we've now introduced a bright red toilet seat for that reason too."

The products are manufactured at the company's headquarters in Staffordshire and can be made to any size, shape, length and finish.

So, if your next project demands lilac, pink or lime grab rails, you know who to ask...
