Uform strengthens senior management team with two new recruits

Kitchen door and component supplier Uform has announced the appointment of two new senior managers in the areas of operations and procurement.

Michael Duffy joins the company as procurement manager with responsibility for the supply chain and production planning functions, ensuring optimal performance in the areas of value, quality, cost and on-time delivery. He will work closely with key stakeholders to help drive Uform's five year strategic plan, whilst enhancing customer order fill rates.

Michael joins the team having gained 18 years procurement experience in the manufacturing sector with a number of industry leading OEM's. With an MSc in Purchasing & Supply Management, he is also MCIPS qualified and in previous roles has acted as department head for procurement and logistics, with the aim of driving down cost, implementing value added strategies, developing relationships with key strategic suppliers and ultimately mitigating risk.

Ronan Lavery joins the Uform team as operations manager and will be responsible for overseeing the operation function within the company's warehouseing facility to include the inventory and distribution of goods. He holds a masters in Mechanical Engineering and has significant experience within the plastics, engineering, marine and aviation industries. He too will assist the company in delivering the Uform five year strategic plan by ensuring best practice quality assurance programmes are adhered to as well as ensuring maximum efficiency in daily operating procedures.
