Trend Interiors: creating a stir

* Trend-Bardolino-pumice.jpgTrend Interiors created a stir with its largest stand ever, as it launched three major collections of worktops, media furniture and sliding wardrobes as well as additions to the kitchens, bathrooms and fitted bedroom ranges.

Indeed the stand featured four kitchen, four bedroom, five full bathroom, five basin units and one media display. All the kitchen displays included the new European styled square edged worktop, UrbanTop, which creates a fully coordinated designer look by matching with doors, cabinets and panelling across a wide range of finishes.

Visitors participated in the 'Five Good Reasons' promotion, with the chance to win a Kitchen Aid mixer, Jane Maddern mega hamper, radio alarm, Apple TV and a chopping board and knife set.

Sales & marketing director Graham Jones believes that the company's offering that will be attractive to retailers, builders and trades people alike. He said: "Trend Interiors is unique in that it offers a single source of furniture for the home and the brand values of trust, simplicity and value make the range a real alternative to the offer from the sheds.

"No other brand can offer all five product ranges from a single supplier. With our brand values of simplicity, quality and value, customers know that dealing with Trend will be stress free and profitable. We offer a comprehensive support package with simple product guides and on line ordering across all the ranges."

Trend Kitchens was enhanced by the addition of new ranges, colours, finishes and upgrades in time for the show. The original collection set new standards for style and value when it was launched in 2012, proving that you can have a designer 'look' in terms of quality and style but with an affordable price tag.

A total of 38 additional finishes across all price groups encompasses three new ranges, a matt foil plain shaker in eight finishes, six gloss slab doors and a matt painted shaker in four classic colours. New doors have been added to the woodgrain painted five piece shaker, the matt painted and gloss painted handleless ranges facilitating more choice and enhancing the options for mixing and matching grains with flat slabs.

Drawer box specifications have been improved across the collection with Blum's Antaro drawer box now standard. The clean contemporary design is in keeping with the Trend style and key features such as three dimensional front adjustment, provides optimum performance. Available in a choice of white or grey they are designed to perfectly complement the majority of decors and finishes.

The extended Trend Bedrooms range now includes everything you need to create a personal designer bedroom. With a new sliding wardrobe range, additional finishes to the fitted wardrobe collection, the Ottoman bed and the introduction of upholstery with fabrics from Stuart Jones opens a wealth of opportunities to customise headboards, bed frames and stools for a truly individual look.

The new sliding wardrobe collection includes three styles with many different door options and there is a comprehensive range of storage options and accessories available including lighting.

The fitted door range has been extended with the addition of Orla, a matt foil slab with a stylish integrated handle, available in 15 finishes - five of which are new for 2016, while the choice of finishes for the contemporary Ava Plus range has more than doubled to offer six new contemporary gloss colours and an urban Matt Concrete.

The enhanced Trend Bathrooms collection offers big design ideas and style with clever storage solutions for small spaces. With basins, worktops, brassware, mirrors, WCs, accessories and lighting, this innovative range is packed with value and choice.

Storage is key to the collection with more size options than ever and clever combinations such as mirrored cabinets to maximise on space. Stand alone sets have been introduced this year that provide slimline and compact solutions to offer more choice and flexibility.

The Trend Interior media furniture can coordinate beautifully with the kitchen furniture and stores not just the TV but all the other hardware, cable and wiring that comes with a multimedia centre. It is a complete versatile storage solution that can be personalised for every home.

A wide choice of back panels, wall units, drawers, shelving and cabinets keeps all of the items associated with a home media station in one place. An intelligent infra-red sensor provides full control of all devices from just one remote even when all the doors are closed.
The furniture can be designed and installed as part of the kitchen project, providing the homeowner with a complete solution for all their media devices and accessories.

"This is an innovative solution for a growing market that has huge potential as the 'living kitchen' continues to become the most favoured option in many homes," said Graham. "The built in concept is well established for other kitchen appliances such as ovens and dishwashers, having coordinating built in furniture for the TV is a logical development."

The furniture is available in 23 fashionable finishes that can be matched with Trend Kitchen slab doors, these include matt woodgrains, matt foil, gloss and painted gloss.
