Cast iron classics from MHS Radiators

MHS Radiators offers a range of traditional cast iron models for period and modern interiors, guaranteed to satisfy the needs of homeowners and designers alike. As a material, cast iron has its own unique properties, including the ability to retain heat for extended periods.

There are four beautifully crafted models from which to choose: Blenheim, Burlington, Clasico and Liberty. Each of these is available in a variety of sizes and colour options, ensuring each radiator makes an elegant statement in the home.

Whether smoothly polished or detailed and ornate, traditional cast iron radiators add a touch of classic splendour to any property - either as part of a new heating system or period refurbishment project.

The range is manufactured from the highest quality cast iron for excellent corrosion resistance, as well as minimum maintenance. MHS Radiators also boasts some of the largest sizes of preassembled traditional cast iron radiators in the UK, which, in the majority of cases, negates the need for onsite assembly. All models are also guaranteed for 10 years, as well as available in electric only options.

The traditional lines of the Blenheim cast iron radiator make it a stunning addition to any room, including bedrooms, kitchens, hallways and dining rooms. Solid and reliable, this ornate radiator is 760mm high and made from 78mm wide sections, designed and crafted with sophistication in mind. It is available from stock in either a classically scrolled relief or plain casting.

Burlington is the cast iron radiator of choice for traditionally styled, new build or refurbished properties, where it can replace outdated or antique radiators with minimum disruption to the fabric of a building or its existing pipework. Measuring 840mm high and consisting of 76mm wide sections, the Burlington is finished in an attractive Dark Olive Brown as standard, although a range of factory painted and hand polished finishes are also available.

Clasico combines high quality cast iron elegance with a sleek modern design, offering a huge array of possibilities for both traditional and modern styles of decor. Available as either wall mounted or floor standing versions, Clasico is supplied in white primer as standard or in a selection of colours. Heights range from 288mm to 870mm, while there is a choice of sections either 50mm or 55mm in width. These radiators are preassembled in up to 20 sections ready for installation. Floor standing models are supplied with fixed feet as standard, although freestanding or optional loose insertable feet are also available.

Finally, the Liberty completes the range, with its scrolled relief patterns and Victorian looks transforming it from humble radiator to a stunning reproduction centrepiece. These radiators are available in heights spanning from 510mm to 950mm and 76mm wide sections. Emitters also boast a classic primer finish and are delivered preassembled for installation.

Each traditional cast iron radiator is supplied complete with fittings for 1/2" bsp connection (BBOE) as standard, with the option for 3/4" or 1" with TBOE and TBSE connections if required. Plus, to complete the traditional styling, MHS Radiators' solid brass Chartwell or Kentwell valves can add the perfect finishing touch.
