Kaldewei showcases new product segment - washbasins - at this week's Sleep exhibition
Kaldewei, showcased an exciting line-up of recently launched products at Sleep this week, including models from its new product segment - washbasins. With the introduction of this new segment, hotel bathrooms can now be styled using a single material, a harmonious design vocabulary and a matching colour scheme.
Created in collaboration with designer, Anke Salomon, the Silenio is distinguished by exceptionally soft interior lines - with the baths and washbasins harmoniously combined.
Also on the stand was Meisterstueck Emerso by designer Arik Levy, first shown in the UK at 100% Design 2016. The free-standing, fully enamelled Meisterstueck Emerso bathtub has a high back rest and slightly rising edge which is like looking at a silk ribbon rolled in on itself. The washstand is the inversely designed counterpart of the bathtub; appearing to be poured seamlessly of Kaldewei steel enamel; the rim of the washstand slopes gently inwards.
To further complement the bathroom range the Scona floor-level shower surface shown, with Secure Plus anti-slip finish. This finish is virtually invisible and available in 12 exclusive matt colours including Alpine White. It features a central circular waste set within the perfectly square or rectangular surface, which matches perfectly to Silenio.
With an attractive price-to-performance ratio, Scona comes in 44 sizes to provide the ideal wet room style shower for many different spatial requirements.
