* Methven-UK-long-servers.jpgMethven UK ended 2010 on a high with a special event on 10th December for more than 100 members of staff to celebrate the launch of the company's Vision and Values and the transfer of the Deva business to Methven UK.

Organised by the marketing team and led by newly appointed Methven UK Chief Operating Officer Steve Lee, highlights included a presentation exploring Methven Vision and Values, with a strong emphasis on empathy, team work, attitude, perusal of the best and caring for the environment. Staff heard the story behind the company's rich New Zealand heritage, plus an overview of international successes and the ambitious global strategy before enjoying an awards ceremony, a lunch and an evening party.

During the awards, staff were thanked for their loyalty and achievements over the years with five members of the team receiving a 'Values Award' for their valuable contribution to the business, and a further 17 people receiving recognition for 10 years' service at Deva.

"The Methven Vision and Values are at the core of everything we do, globally," says Steve Lee. "We will realise our vision to be the leading global brand, recognised and loved worldwide for delivering superior, life-enhancing shower experiences by adhering to our values.

"We care deeply about being the best we can be, providing a first class service, offering products that surpass expectations and all in an uncompromising, inclusive and responsible manner, with a careful eye on the environmental impact of our business and products."
