Abode supports Mission Christmas

Over the past two years, instead of spending money on hundreds of Christmas cards for its customers and distributor partners, Abode has helped many people by donating money and gifts to different charities. This Christmas, Abode donated to the largest annual 'Christmas Toy Appeal' in the UK - Mission Christmas.

Mission Christmas is run by Cash for Kids, which works with thousands of grass-root organisations across the UK, supporting disadvantaged children aged up to 18 years. Mission Christmas also work closely with social workers, head teachers and the emergency services, who all nominate families 'in crisis' to be supported by the appeal.

In an effort to reach out to the Appeal, as well as the Company's donation, staff at Abode were fundraising internally, as a team, as well as donating gifts themselves to the appeal.

In 2015 the annual appeal generated more than £13 million in gifts and donations which were distributed to more than 300,000 disadvantaged youngsters throughout the UK; in 2016 it did even better... raising an incredible £15,437,328 in gifts and cash, enabling the charity to support 362,694 disabled and disadvantaged children across the UK.
