Rearo appoints marketing manager to support 2017 growth

* Rearo-appoints.jpgRearo, the interior manufacturer and supplier headquartered in Govan, Glasgow, has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new marketing manager.

Ian Wright will lead Rearo's marketing and communications across the UK and internationally.

Wright joins Rearo from Garthland Print and Design, which he owned for over 25 years and recently sold. He will lead the new marketing team, which includes an executive and a graduate assistant.

Graham Mercer, managing director of Rearo, says of the appointment: "Rearo is undergoing a period of significant growth and we need the brand and marketing expertise to support that.

"With the recent launch of our online shop, our new flooring range and upcoming product launches, Rearo has more customer markets than ever before.

"Ian's background in marketing and design, as well as his business acumen, make him an excellent appointment for Rearo.

"Ian will drive growth and increased market share in both domestic and commercial clients across the UK."

Ian will be based at Rearo's headquarters in Govan/ Glasgow and oversee all internal and external communications, including digital channels.

Rearo recently announced a £1 million UK distribution deal with Meyer Timber, and the launch of its first flooring range, Clixeal.

Rearo was launched in 1989, employs 100 people across the UK and has an annual turnover of around £10million. It has five showrooms in Scotland (Shetland, Ayr, Rosyth, Govan and Inverness), one in Gateshead (Newcastle) and one in Newport, Wales.

The company manufactures its additional own ranges, such as Selkie, the waterproof wall panel; Senses and Surfstone, the affordable and luxury kitchen worktop ranges; Ancona, the PVC wall and ceiling panels and Versatile, the wall panel range.

Rearo's showrooms across Scotland, England and Wales also stock products from Formica and Unika.

The company has also created products for the commercial market. It manufactures and installs off the shelf and bespoke toilet cubicles for private and public sector clients, whether schools or McDonalds.
