Belling launches freestanding microwave collection: Five models and two new looks

Popular appliance manufacturer Belling, part of Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, has launched a collection of freestanding microwaves to complement its existing cooking ranges. The new collection includes five products and offers two distinct aesthetics - a collection of sleek modern appliances and a Retro range in racing-car red, glossy black or vintage cream.

The 20 litre Belling FM2080S and the 23 litre Belling FM2380S are both 800W microwaves with digital controls, five power levels, a defrost setting, 95-minute cooking timer and a fast-cook option. Both available in stainless steel, the 20 litre product has a black control panel and the 23 litre model has a stainless steel front plate.

The 25 litre, 900W Belling FM2590G, has a bigger cooking capacity and also offers a 1000W grill, as well as lots of great features, and is available with a sleek black exterior with stainless steel trim.

And for those looking for something with even more flexibility, the 28 litre FM2890C is a 900W Combi Microwave which features a 1100W grill and a 2500W combination oven so it can be used just like a conventional oven. The Combi Microwave has 10 auto cooking menus and the ability to defrost by time and weight.

Belling's Retro 20 litre 800W microwave is available in red, black or cream with contrasting silver handle and edging and chunky controls. This model also offers five power levels, defrost by weight and time and a cooking timer.

"Belling has more than 100 years of cooking heritage across all the categories but this new free standing collection ensures we can now also offer a microwave to suit every kitchen," explains Laura Davies, product manager - Freestanding at Glen Dimplex Home Appliances.

"The new collection will complement our existing cooking range, and of course the new laundry and dishwashing products, to ensure Belling is the home of home appliances."
