Franke's updated WDU range now includes anti-bacterial protection

Franke's updated range of Waste Disposal Units, Turbo Elite, features a new space- saving model, the slimline TE-75S, and all now benefit from anti-bacterial odour protection for added hygiene.

The five WDUs in the Turbo Elite range are available now and offer different performance levels to deal with differing household waste requirements, at prices to suit every budget.

The range includes the continuous feed TE-50, TE-75, slimline TE-75S, TE-125 and the powerful batch feed TE-125B. All are designed to rid the kitchen of unsightly and unhygienic organic household waste safely, quickly and simply . While running water through the unit, food is instantly liquefied into fine particles that are easily flushed through the pipework system.

Compatible with most sinks, they each feature robust stainless steel grinding components within their corrosion-proof chambers. For safety, a special guard prevents cutlery from being accidentally dropped into the unit.

Thanks to a permanent magnet motor, the units reach high speed instantly, producing more torque per kilo than other brands. All of the WDUs are sound insulated for quieter operation.

The TE-50 has a 1/2 HP motor and speed of 2600 RPM; the TE-75S and TE-75 both have a 3/4 HP motor with a speed of 2700 RPM; the TE-125 has a powerful 11/4 HP/2800 RPM motor; the TP- 125B utilises a batch feed system, with a 11/4 HP/2800 RPM motor. All come with the assurance of a 10-year guarantee.
