Franke offers sponsorship opportunity for Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design

* Franke-red-dot.jpgFranke is offering an exclusive 50% scholarship to a studio designer at one of its More in Store retailers to support them completing the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Bucks New University. Applications are now open and retailers have until Friday 4th August to apply.

The degree is a distance-learning course taught at the highest level by industry experts, with the backing of the kitchen industry through the formation of The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET), which helps shape the course content.

The course not only focuses on design, but also covers other areas of study including sales & marketing, business, service, production, installation, psychology and an understanding of related design industries.

"We recognise that The Kitchen Education Trust are making a real difference to our industry and are delighted to offer this sponsorship opportunity as part of our commitment to improved professionalism within the industry, and to our More in Store initiative," explains Neil Clark, managing director at Franke.

"This is a very exciting opportunity for the selected individual, as well as for the More in Store retailer who will be helping their member of staff achieve an industry-recognised qualification, and we look forward to receiving applications."

To apply, More in Store retailers simply need to email a personal statement from their candidate advising why they would like to participate in the course and how they expect it to progress their career within the industry, to [email protected]

Remember: the closing date is Friday 4th August so there is not much time to get the application together. Franke is offering a 50% scholarship towards the annual tuition fees and the successful candidate will be responsible for the remainder. The tuition fees are currently set at £5,400 per year for the 3-year course.
