Super sleek kitchen offers functional, sociable space

This super sleek contemporary kitchen is a shining example of how a highly functional and sociable modern space can work.

The owners of this large bungalow wanted the kitchen to be as clean and uncluttered as possible. With this in mind, kitchen designer Debbie Bowden created a kitchen with minimum distractions on the eye.

To keep the streamlined look the cabinets were constructed with touch action mechanism eliminating the need for handles. To further keep a sense of openness and light, a tall wall length larder provides storage for essential items such as packets and tins. The easy to use pull-out racks allow the user to clearly see all the items within... thankfully no more scrabbling around at the back of dark cupboards!

The overall style of the kitchen is that of relaxed contemporary chic. High gloss paintwork sits harmoniously alongside splashes of vibrant colour and the orange glass splashbacks add warmth to the otherwise understated and simple interior.

A large central island plays host to friends and family providing additional work surfaces and the perfect spot for socialising.
