New promotion at Apex Interior Systems

Darren Vickers who joined Apex Interior Systems as Operations Manager in 2010 has been promoted to the position of General Manager. Darren initially working primarily in making changes operationally and improving processes; his success has improved productivity immensely. In his new position, he takes on the responsibility of continuing to make operational and engineering changes but also adds the telesales department and salesforce to his remit.

38 year old Darren, a married man with children, has worked in engineering all of his working life and has gained a wealth of knowledge about manufacturing principles and process improvements. His last position was production manager at Bosal UK where he worked for 16 years. Darren's goal is to turn Apex into a world class manufacturing organisation and become the UK's leading manufacturer of vinyl wrapped kitchen and bedroom doors.

On welcoming Darren to his new position within the company, Managing Director Andrew Ashworth commented: "It's always good to welcome talented people who bring with them fresh ideas and motivation. With our evolving marketing policies the expansion of the management team will be to the benefit of the brand."
