BathEmpire to sell self-cleaning shower screens

From 3 rd August 2011, UK online bathroom retailer BathEmpire is launching a new range of self-cleaning shower screens and enclosures that use special nano-coatings to break down dirt.

The new EasyClean shower screen range uses a special nano-coating technology which works in two phases to break down organic dirt and let it rinse clean away. The EasyClean coating includes ingredients that cause a photo-catalytic reaction with light, to break down particles of dirt. Secondly the hydrophilic coating attracts water, allowing it to spread evenly off the glass, instead of running away in rivulets; meaning less time spent on cleaning and a greener bathroom alternative to chemical cleaners.

All shower screens and enclosures in the range such are stylish and modern; featuring safety glass, quiet slide and close mechanisms.
