IDS hits £1m sales with its Webstore on-line shopping solution

Surface materials distributor IDS has notched up £1m worth of sales on its e-commerce site IDS Webstore which allows trade customers a 24/7 online trading solution with the key benefits of product ordering, account management and delivery tracking.

IDS says it was the first distributor in its sector to launch an on-line shopping service to trade customers giving them 24/7 flexibility to purchase from its extensive portfolio of worksurfaces, flooring and Showerwall waterproof wallpanelling. Customers can select from an extensive brand line-up including Tuscan solid and engineered wood flooring; Quickstep and KronoOriginal laminate flooring; Tuscan engineered stone and Tuscan solid surfaced worktops, as well as a host of laminate worktop brands from Bushboard, Formica and Duropal.

Easy to navigate, fast to use and visually engaging, the site is rich with information allowing customers multiple ways to search for and select products by browsing a product category, a particular brand or by putting a product code straight into the new search box. Customers can download everything from general product information to technical specifications sheets, fitting instructions and warranties.
