LDL joins KBSA as corporate member
The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association has announced that one of the UK's leading distributors of high quality furniture fittings has become a corporate member.
Now in its eighth year, LDL Components is one of the UK's leading nationwide distributors of quality fittings and accessories for the fitted furniture industry. In addition to the Head Office and the Sales Office based in Bath, LDL Components also has a Distribution and Logistics Centre in Glossop and a new Scottish office and showroom in Cumbernauld. Future plans include a brand new showroom at the Bath headquarters and a new interactive website, now nearing completion.
Offering a range of over 3,500 products, LDL Components specialises in quality products for the premium end of the market and is the main UK distributor offering Blum drawer and hinge components, Peka wirework and Wesco waste solutions under one roof.
"We have built our company by delivering exceptional levels of service from dedicated staff with in-depth product knowledge," explains Matthew Lord, managing director at LDL. "We have ambitions to continue to grow the business and believe our membership of the KBSA will assist us by helping us build stronger relationships with the specialist retailers that are members of the KBSA."
Graham Ball, chief executive officer of the KBSA, is pleased that LDL has joined the Association, saying: "We are delighted to welcome LDL into the KBSA.
"We are confident that retail members will benefit from this latest addition to our corporate membership. The KBSA is the only association to offer a unique combination of specialist retailer members that receive substantial support from corporate brands."
The KBSA is a national trade association founded 30 years ago to promote excellence within the interiors industry and champion consumer protection. More than 300 retailer members throughout the UK support the KBSA.
Members are dedicated to upholding the Association's high standards of design, supply, installation and customer service throughout the interiors industry. All members are carefully vetted prior to admission and they must have been trading for at least two years to be considered for membership. All members offer ConsumerCare deposit protection or ConsumerCare Plus, which protects the consumer from payment of the deposit to completion of the contract and includes an insurance-backed warranty.
In addition, all members are subject to regular monitoring of their businesses to ensure levels of quality are continually maintained.
