Chalon takes on four new design consultants

Chalon tells us that four new design consultants have joined the company in recent weeks. Three will be based at the company’s flagship King’s Road, London showroom, while the fourth will be based at the key Northern store in Harrogate. Bringing a broad array of kitchen industry experience to Chalon, their skills will complement those of the existing sales team.

Ilga Heinrich has spent the majority of her career working in the kitchens and interiors industry in Norway.  With an interior design certification from Norway, her design background lends itself to the look and feel of Chalon’s furniture, which is, of course, flavoured by Scandinavian influences.

Harjit Phull is a BA (Hons) graduate in Business & Marketing and joins Chalon after more than 10 years working in the UK kitchen multiple sector.  With her skills extending to showroom management and installations co-ordination, she brings a wide array of kitchen industry experience to the team.

Adam Tripp joins Chalon having been designing handmade kitchens and bedrooms in Fleetwood, his home town in Lancashire.  He has had seven years of experience in both design and project management, learning his trade with an independent family run company then becoming self employed.  Adam will be based in London but is also available for consultations in the St Albans and Tunbridge Wells showrooms.

Hazel Bond has almost 15 years’ experience in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.  Having spent the first half of her career designing bathrooms, she then moved on to kitchen and bedroom design, dealing with bespoke and handmade products – this along with her ‘whole of the home’ design expertise will provide a good fit with the Chalon product portfolio.  Hazel will be joining Chalon’s Harrogate showroom, covering Yorkshire, the North of England and reaching into Scotland.

Ilga, Harjit, Adam and Hazel have undergone an intensive training course at Chalon’s head office and workshops down in Somerset, covering the key points in terms of craftsmanship, painting / finishing and quality that, says Chalon, differentiates its kitchens from anything else currently available in the marketplace.

Chalon continues to produce handcrafted, hand painted kitchens and furniture, for every room of the home, here in the UK.  The company looks forward to integrating these four new designers into its sales team.

In further news, over the past few months, Chalon has launched its Spring 2012 colours; completed the most recent of an ongoing series of revamps of its flagship King’s Road, London showroom; joined the Guild of Master Craftsmen; been re-awarded The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers Manufacturing Guild Mark and commenced closer working relationships with Aga, Britannia, Spillers and Westin.

Plans for the immediate future include:

•          Head Office, Hambridge Summer Garden Party on Thursday 21st June

•          A range of exclusive Chalon branded taps

•          A range of exclusive Chalon branded sinks
